Capstone project

Capstone: a full client-grade site

Build a complete site for a supplied UK brand: Theme Builder templates, a dynamic listings section with filters, an automated lead form, a WooCommerce shop or members area, performance and accessibility reports, and a care-plan proposal. You present it to your tutor live on a call.

This course is for you if

  • You build Elementor sites confidently and keep hitting the limits of the editor.
  • You want to build dynamic, data-driven sites without becoming a programmer.
  • You need to build WooCommerce stores or membership and course sites for clients.
  • You run, or plan to run, a small agency and want repeatable systems.

It's not the right fit if

  • You have not done Intermediate or built Theme Builder templates, loops and dynamic content yourself. Take Intermediate first.
  • You want to learn to program. This course uses small copy-paste snippets only; for code, see Your First WordPress Plugin.

Questions about this course

Anything else? Send me a message or book a 30-minute taster lesson.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. Everything is built with Elementor Pro and well-known plugins. Where a small CSS or JavaScript snippet helps, you copy it from the lesson and we explain what it does. There is no PHP or plugin development.

How is this different from Intermediate?

Intermediate teaches the tools: Theme Builder, dynamic content, loops, forms and popups. Advanced assumes you know them and takes them much further: complex template systems, content models and directories with hundreds of entries, automations that route leads, conversion funnels, shops, members areas and running it all like an agency.

Which paid plugins will I need?

Elementor Pro, plus ACF (free) for modules 3 and 4. WooCommerce and Tutor LMS are free. Paid membership plugins are shown, with free options where they exist.

How do the 2 hours of tutoring work?

Book them from your student dashboard as two 1-hour or four 30-minute sessions over Zoom or Google Meet, whenever you need them, within 12 months of buying. Most people use one session halfway through and one before going live. You keep the recordings.

How is the course assessed?

By a practical assessment of the site you build, marked by your tutor against a published rubric, and a final multiple-choice exam. Pass both and you get your certificate. If something needs more work you can fix it and resubmit.

How long do I have access?

For 12 months from the day you buy, including every update made in that time. Your 2 hours of tutoring are valid for the same 12 months.

What if I get stuck?

Ask a question under the lesson and I'll reply, usually within one working day. If you'd rather talk it through, book a one-to-one lesson and share your screen.

Can I get a refund?

Yes. If you're not happy, email within 30 days of buying for a full refund. See the refund policy for details.
